Notes: | According to Leafly.com:
“Super Silver Haze, bred by Green House Seeds, was the first prize winner at the High Times Cannabis Cup in 1997, 1998, and 1999. It also won awards at the High Times Harvest Festival. By crossing the genetics of Skunk, Northern Lights, and Haze, we are left with a beautiful, sticky sativa blend that boasts an energetic, long-lasting body high. The uplifting effects are a great for high stress levels or when suffering from a lack of appetite or nausea.” I think this report is right on, with the exception of being “energetic”. Maybe I’m just tired, but I feel perfectly relaxed here in front of my PC and have no desire to do stuff other than write this review and play a game. Aha! I said above that the flavor was reminiscent of pot from the 70’s, so I researched a little and found that Skunk (an ancestor of Super Silver Haze) has a familiar family tree: Afghani, Acapulco Gold and Columbian Gold. All are strains we smoked back in the 70’s (although in my experience, the Afghani weed came in the form of hash, wonderful stuff!). |
