After 3 days dealing with reordering and moving literally thousands of files between external drives and getting my Lightroom catalog back in order and two days of visitors, I finally can finish this travel blog. I have to get ready for a trip to New Jersey tomorrow (Turkey Day) and I am most anxious to return to my studies of consciousness and time, so this blog will be long on photos and short on text. We have lots more photos, of course, but those will have to wait for a future slide show. So, you got lucky!

Our final destination was Barcelona. It was our first trip to Barcelona and we definitely want to go back already. The photos you see will focus mostly on the amazing architecture we saw in Barcelona. This city is one big bowl of eye candy! So amazing!

Enjoy!

Flamenco!

Yes, if you go to Spain, you have to see a Flamenco show! Be aware there are good flamenco shows and not so good shows. In this case, thanks to Lisa’s great research, we found that there was a highly reviewed and respected flamenco show happening the night we arrived. Not only was the show highly rated, but it was happening at Palau de la Música Catalana. Wow! What a venue! Understandably, they would not allow photos during the show, so we took a few before the show started. This theater is an acoustic dream for musicians anywhere, I suspect. Hearing Spanish classical guitars playing there was wonderful, to say the least.

I hope you enjoyed the photos and my notes! We’re still noodling over what foreign adventure we are going to do next. Stay tuned!
